Medically Supervised Drug & Alcohol Detox
Detox from drugs and alcohol is the first step in the treatment process toward recovery. Whiteside Manor offers a safe, medically supervised detoxification. Detoxification is designed to support clients during withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs and usually lasts from 3-7 days. Detox clients are monitored by qualified, experienced staff 24 hours a day. Our staff nurse works in conjunction with a local physician who prescribes any necessary detox medications. During the detoxification period, we make every effort to engage the client in appropriate treatment and make their withdrawal from alcohol and drugs as comfortable as possible.
Our heroin and opiate detox program using Suboxone (the sublingual form of buprenophine / buprenix) leads the field in safe, comfortable opiate detoxification. This treatment is available to detox clients from such narcotic medications as Vicodin, Percocet, Percodan, Oxycontin, Hydromorphone, Methadone, Demerol, Codeine, Fentanyl and other prescription drugs of abuse, as well as illegal opiates including opium and heroin.
Two major objectives of our California Detoxification Program are: to safely and humanely detoxify the client from alcohol and mood-altering substances and to begin preparing the client for the appropriate level of care for substance abuse treatment.
There is a flat fee for 2-5 days of Suboxone detox. There are no refunds.
